Edited to Marvel: LEGENDÁK: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). Now that the first season is over, I can confidently say that this series has exceeded my expectations. It uses witty scripts and detailed animations to give fans the service they wanted and more. Each episode is quite varied, so there are a lot of different scenarios and you never know how it will end or which characters will appear. The show doesn’t waste any time explaining anything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe and just jumps right into the scenarios, even starting to merge scenarios without warning. This is for the fans, not the casual viewer! However, the variety of episodes also means that the quality and tone varies quite drastically as well. The short runtime means that a lot of the events and battles are cut down. A lot of care was taken to keep everything canon and consistent, but there are still some flaws and each character’s power/abilities felt contrived based on the needs of the plot.
