The game starts by showing a small summary of the events of the old games in the series and something new: the bankruptcy of the Umbrella Corporation is announced; The cast of Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker is also in Umbrella Chronicles. The protagonist of RE4 is Leon S. Kennedy, a survivor of Raccoon City who now works as a secret agent for the US government. Leon has investigated Ashley Graham suspects the president’s daughter, who was already apparently kidnapped in a remote village in Spain. Leonia is assisted by Ingrid Hunnigan, who gives her information about the terrain.
